Autumn in Victoria

Inspired by Impressionism, I focus on fleeting impressions, the interplay of light and shadow, and conveying emotions through the richness of colour. My canvases are not merely reflections of the world, but interpretations shaped by direct observation and experience. – Andrii Yendakov

INTRODUCING – ROBERT WILMAN
Hollow Form
Arbutus, Canker Log section 11 x 8
$450
With over 40 years of experience, Robert primarily works with salvage wood, including native maple, fruitwoods, and ornamental trees. His pieces often highlight natural imperfections such as spalting, cracks, and exposed bark, embracing the wood’s inherent beauty and character.
Carved & Textured Bowl
Garry Oak 3½ x 9½
$350
Robert’s process combines precision with spontaneity, guided by the grain and defects of the wood. He uses both power and hand-carving tools to create unique textures, often incorporating dyes, stains, and metal leaf. Each piece evolves organically, with no two being exactly alike, ensuring that every creation is one-of-a-kind.

WILLIAM LIAO
Fog and Snow
Acrylic on canvas 36 x 36
$5060
This painting embodies the spirit of Romanticism, blending the grandeur of nature with the profound depths of human emotion. The mountains and mist are not a reproduction of nature but a reflection of the artist’s inner world. They symbolize the landscapes within each of us: a yearning for higher ideals, a quest for freedom, and a connection to something eternal. – William Liao
Height of Autumn
Acrylic on canvas 36 x 24
$3490
As autumn descends, the earth begins its quiet journey into stillness. The steadfast mountain stands witness to this fleeting moment, as if to say that the passing of seasons is not an end, but a transformation, even in moments of fading, there is a blaze of life, a surge of colour, a celebration of existence. – William Liao
