Naoko has worked as a glass artist since 1983, when she studied design and glassblowing at the Tama Art University, Tokyo. Subsequently, she studied glassblowing at the highly regarded New York Experimental Glass Workshop. In the 1990s, she was honored with scholarships to attend the world-renowned Pilchuck Glass School in Washington State.

Angela began her artistic journey as a soapstone sculptor, training at the Banff School of Fine Arts. In 1996, The Canadian Embassy in Hong Kong purchased one of her sculptures. Angela then made the natural progression to Silversmithing and has over twenty years of experience.
