BRUCE EDMUNDSON
Mettle
Salt Spring Island Big Leaf Maple Burl, Quartz Base
28.5″ x 17″ x 6″, on a 12″ diameter base
$1500
Mettle is a homage to the strength of character, grit and perseverance of everyone affected by the pandemic. There is a lot of pessimism about, and this piece speaks to the ability to push through the darkness, to remember the good qualities that abound. There is a lot of darkness, depth, detail and scars in this piece. It has survived chainsaws, insects, weather and fire. And it landed here, preserved, a monument of sorts, testimony to the resilience of nature, of which we are a part. – Bruce Edmundson

DARLENE LETENDRE
Double Leaf Earrings
Silver Infused Bronze 2.25″ length
$115
My jewellery is inspired by nature. Working with semi-precious metals, my designs transform them into one-of-a-kind sculptural necklaces, earrings, and rings. Each creation uses hand forged, fused, cast or reticulated elements, becoming a unique handmade piece of wearable art. – Darlene Letendre
