“Corner Of The Inlet was painted ‘en plein air’ at a favourite stretch of rocky coast not far from my studio. There is a calmness I always find there even though the water has the power to move massive logs like pick-up-sticks. I was there late in the day, and it was particularly calm as the sun shone through the trees and made pools of light on the logs and rocks.” – Maria Josenhans
