Tanya Bone’s masterful ability to work in a classical way is evident in her two new arrivals.

Tanya grew up on the Canadian prairies and spent much of her childhood on her grandparents’ farm in Saskatchewan. Later, living in Vancouver, British Columbia, she methodically pursued her art training.

She completed art studies at Emily Carr College of Art and Design, Langara College, and the Federation of Canadian Artists in Vancouver, where during her training she received Great Distinction Status recognition. Later, Tanya completed a full term at Watts Atelier of the Arts, San Diego, CA.

Tanya is highly recognized for her traditional style of realistic paintings that classically incorporates timeless themes. As long as she can remember she has been drawn to the still life paintings of Old Masters, and says “they speak to me on a deeply emotional level.”
