Tiger’s Eye, Pearl & Boctroidal Drusy Earrings
Cheryl’s creativity is evident in her ability to find a united design, as in this pair of earrings that although are not identical, share a common voice.
Sterling Silver Onefooter Ring with 0.73ct Aquamarine
set in 18k Yellow Gold size 8.5
“My new passion is making rings in the Onefooter series and setting them with coloured stones! In this one, I use an Aquamarine. As in all Onefooters, the sterling silver is first forged in various directions, then wound repeatedly into a continuous loop, wrapping around the finger many times without beginning or end.”
– Dorothée Rosen
Birdseye Maple Burl 15 x 12 x 4
From planting trees to working on a carnival and eventually graduating from UBC with an MFA in Creative Writing, Bruce’s resumé spans a broad range of unique endeavours. He travelled extensively throughout Mexico and South America and attended the highly regarded Instituto Allende in San Miguel d’Allende. In 1990, while working in the forest industry, his exposure to locally exotic and unusual woods ignited a passion in sculpting. We are honoured to have the opportunity to exhibit Bruce’s fine work.
Urchin Weave Bracelet
Welded Pure Titanium Rings; Sterling Silver Rings & Clasp
“I’ve always loved the endoskeletons of sea urchins, with their squashed spherical forms, intricate raised planes and textures left by the spines. The planes and stripes of this maille weave were created from an aerial sketch of a sea-urchin endoskeleton which was converted into bracelet form. Sterling silver and titanium are interwoven to create the dimensional pattern.” – Anne Kelly
