Hidden Cove by Mary-Jean Butler
“Hidden Cove” is a painting that reflects what I love most about our southern British Columbian landscape; ocean, islands, and arbutus trees. I had the opportunity last summer to explore Desolation Sound by kayak. Experiencing the coastline this way, was truly magical and provided an intimate way to access the remote coves and bays. It was during this trip that I found my inspiration for “Hidden Cove”. – Mary-Jean Butler
