Sandra’s work has been exhibited widely in jewellery and craft exhibitions and juried shows and she has received many awards. In addition to working full-time as a jeweller she has done much teaching over the years at Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario, the Haliburton School of Fine Arts, Idyllwild Arts Academy in California and many etching workshops. Her jewellery is hand made using traditional techniques and her metals of choice are sterling silver, brass, and bronze. A special passion for etching techniques enables her to use both drawn and original photographic images in her work. In addition she designs metal sculptures, wall pieces and books, often combining etched metal images with intaglio prints.
